  • Do you want to avoid crying while peeling/cutting onions ?? Cut them in half and soak in water for about 10-15 minutes and then dice them.
  • Want to make crispy pooris?? While kneading the wheat flour, add a little rice flour to it and knead well.
  • While preparing a dish, you find it has turned salty, add some tomato juice/a tomato to it, it will reduce the saltiness.
  • If you want to keep away insects in rice or dhal containers, add a few turmeric pieces or garlic flakes in them.
  • While boiling potatoes, adding a pinch of turmeric will help in boiling them faster.
  • To cook dal quick, add a pinch of turmeric or a pinch of soda to it.
  • Adding a little salt when frying tomatoes makes them mushy faster.
